HONGKONG & MACAU: First Travel outside the Philippines with friends

For my first post for my blog, I decided to write about my first ever vacation outside the Philippines. Since I've been working so hard for the past year, it's time to treat myself for a vacation. When I heard that my HS friend Ching and her friend Jana will go to HONGKONG and MACAU for a few days, I tagged along. But since they are already booked  ahead of time, I booked myself for a different flight and hotel.

First on our itinerary is to eat! We ordered noodles, food was a bit spicy and hot but I loved the red monggo beans drink. Since its raining, we can't go sightseeing we decided to take some rest at our hotel then eat again, this time we tried their Hainese Chicken and  its delicious but we had a hard time eating with chopsticks because we are not used to using it 😂.We visited Hongkong museum and beside it is the famous Victoria Harbour where the Avenue of stars is located and witnessed the symphony of lights.Near that area is the 1881 heritage village.

Day 2: Ngongping 360 cable car, Ngongping village, the Big Buddha And temples, then  In the evening at ladies market for some pasalubong shopping.

Day 3: Macau trip via costai ferry. Visited the St.Paul ruins and the other landmarks near that area. After eating our lunch we went straight to the Venetian Hotel for some picture taking and while waiting for the friend of Ching who works at Venetian we drank  margarita and after we transferred to Soho Hotel City of dreams to eat again at a Mexican restaurant. Then went back to Hongkong that same day.

Day 4: Off to the happiest place on earth:Disneyland. Brings back childhood memories. So good to be kid again (at heart).

Day 5: Early flight back to Manila. Took the bus in going to the airport alone. I SHALL BE BACK HONGKONG AND MACAU :)
