🌈Delle Fae’s Adventures🌈: How I Applied for a Turkey Tourist Visa in Oman

For a Philippine Passport holder like me, I needed a visa to visit Turkey. Since I’m working in Oman, I decided to apply for a tourist visa in Turkey here. I can’t find any helpful tips online on how to apply if you’re living in Oman ,all I came across are those living in UAE and other GCC countries. But I think the requirements are basically the same. I prepared all following documents for my visa application which I gathered from all the online blogs I have read.

•Application form✅(I asked for a copy from the travel agency that I have booked my plane ticket and travel insurance)

•2pcs- 5cmx6cm white background✅

•Original passport✅

•Copy of passport and resident card✅

•Copy of roundtrip plane ticket✅

•Hotel reservations✅

•Three months bank statement- original and stamped✅

•Salary certificate✅

•No objection Certificate from employer✅

•Travel insurance✅

I visited the website of Turkish Embassy (muskat.be.mfa.gov.tr) to make on appointment. From the website, I found out the requirements for appointments:

From the website you have to download each of the required documents. After

downloading all the necessary documents you will choose the date of your appointment.

On the day of my appointment, I brought all the documents needed but I forgot to print the online application form so make sure you print and bring a copy with you because they don’t accept handwritten application form anymore. Luckily for me, the officer from the Embassy was kind enough to understand when I told him I didn't have a copy of my online application form so he just asked me about my application referrence number which is given to you online when making appointments. I gave him all the documents needed and 1 pc passport size photo with white background and paid the visa fee of 23.5 omani riyals.
